Wellness Routine + Healthy Habits

They have everything from like nutrition bar new protein powders, pink hair. To make up the things everyone talks about, but you’re kind of like where the heck do you get that’s where so I will have all the products that I specifically talk about linked below as well as I are the site, it’s a really great resource. This is like a lot of info know that you can always pick and choose which habits you want to incorporate.

It would mean a lot to me and also go ahead and follow my Instagram if you’re interested, so what the first product category that I wanted to mention was essential oils, and I’ve talked about these recently in some of my articles. But I’ve been absolutely love.

Oil diffusing also, you can use essential oils in other ways as well. Those are two that I picked up for. My herb are the eucalyptus and teacher oil, which I love to diffuse throughout my phase II as they’re, both very calming and earthy cents, but they can also be used on their own use, tea tree oil as a spot treatment for my acne. If you guys have been following me for a while, you know that I really struggle with acne.

I know it doesn’t seem like it, I’m wearing a ton of makeup. To be honest, so teacher oil actually works as a spa trip, but you don’t want to use it all over your face. I have this written down, excited onna pronounce it, but it unblocked the sebaceous gland acts as like a solvent. So, since teacher oil is an oil, don’t go in and kind of break up the dirt and lift and remove it away. It’s like a natural antibacterial, disinfectants, anti-inflammatory as well, and then eucalyptus is amazing.

It’s very calming to me. It feels like a spa like you. Can also mix it with like a little bit of lip balm and put it underneath your nose if you’re feeling sick, it’s like a natural decongestant, so those are my two favorite essential oils. I also love lavender and a bunch of other blends, but you can find like pretty much every essentially on. I are checking with the oil trials on some facial oils that I love incorporating into my skincare routine.

So the first one is rose Hedy Doyle, it’s packed with vitamin A and C which are like two of the best ones to use for your skin. It’s also filled with antioxidants and fatty acids, so it really helps to like firm and plump the skin, and it also helps with acne scar fading as well as acne in general and oil that I wanted to talk about. Omers, cocoa butter formula, multi effect perfecting facial oil, I’m obsessed with this stuff.

I love this Palmer’s cocoa butter brand. I use their coconut body lotion as well as their coconut oil. This oil particular also smells amazing a little bit more like sweet almond oil in it. So I’m assuming that’s where it’s coming from skin perfecting ingredients, its cocoa butter, which is a protective plan to extract retina, which I always look for products with retinol, because it increases cell turnover.

It’s really good for anti-aging, as well as acne vitamin C, which brightens complexion in tone and then vitamin E which helps prevent cell oxidation and then there’s also 9pr oils. I usually do the rosehip seed oil at night and then the perfecting facial oil in the morning and at the skincare Department. I also picked up a face mask and I love face max face mask. They are good for your skin, everyone smile, but also to me they’re such a self-care thing like putting on a face, mask and really calming and relaxing to me.

I love a good clay mask. I know my roommates are a really big fan of the one that you mix with apple cider, vinegar. I think that one’s a little bit too harsh for me, I’m trying out this one. It is the French green clay, facial treatment. I love a clay mask, though really good for tightening and firming and drying out impurities, easy it just mixed with water, and it’s made of a 100 % French green clay.

I am can’t smile or move my face. Get next topic on. My list is daily vitamins. My recently incorporated two new vitamins, which I want to talk about magnesium and b12. These pill container, like your parents, have these, but once I got one of these and actually started to take this seriously, it’s like such a lifesaver that magnesium is written down, density, a better sleep, reducing stress and anxiety, and it regulates kind of like all of your Bodily functions in terms of vitamins I do it is best to get your vitamins from your Whole Foods, so foods that are also high in my museum or to dark leafy greens see the nuts dark chocolate and avocado.

I’ve been doing the green superfood by amazing girl, wheatgrass barley, grass, spirulina spinach beet carrot, hace, broccoli and other supplement. I like to add to my smoothies as organic maca root powder. This stuff actually tastes. It smells kind of good and caramel e, something it also helped. Your athletic endurance, great as like a pre-workout meal, I’ll list, the greens with people in the description she will give it a try.

It’s like my favorite thing right now. I wanted to talk about another type of juice that I’ve been doing, which LRU juice all your juice for about two amazing for your digestive system, verifying your bloodstream as well as like purging your body of toxin. I actually learned about this from the skinny confidential we’ve talked about before she swears my tongue scraping. What you want to do is the first thing you do when you get up in the morning is: go wash your face, brush your teeth and scrape your tongue as you sleep your mouth and face build bacteria.

The first thing that you want to do before you drink any water and take all that bacteria back into your system is get it out, and I’m literally just about to pack this to go home to Minnesota with me, helps with bad breath. Caviar is a SUPERFOOD!

Salmon roe is here. There are many names for caviar from fish eggs to roe. Some of you guys might have gone to a sushi restaurant and seen ikura, masago or 2b go on the menu, but caviar is technically supposed to be from wild beluga sturgeon in the Caspian Sea. Now caviar is used as a general term for any salted fish eggs. What they do is they take the egg sac out of the fish.

They separate the eggs from the membrane they lightly salt them, and then they either put it in jars or cans. Freeze, it refrigerate it whatever caviar might just be the healthiest food on the planet. Just like liver, it contains all of the vitamins, minerals, elements and fatty acids. Our bodies need, in their most bioavailable form the animal form. The nutrients in certain plant foods require conversion in the body, whereas the nutrients from animal foods are directly absorbed.

The main discrepancy between liver and fish eggs is that liver has a substantially higher vitamin A retinol content and fish eggs have much higher omega-3 fatty acids. Epa and DHA. The DHA in fish eggs is actually in the phospholipid form, which is said to pass through the brain, much easier and be absorbed better, but that’s never actually been proven. The nutrient profile is similar per calorie, that is, salmon eggs, for instance, are higher in fat. They have a higher fat percentage, so the nutrients might be more concentrated, but calorie for calorie all fish eggs are equal, whether it’s cod, roe herring, roe, sturgeon, Roe. All fish roe is a super nutrient-dense food. It’s just the facts of protein ratio varies depending on the species of fish, and we can also assume it matters if the fish is farm raised or wild caught, that will directly affect the nutrients and the omega profile of the fish eggs.

You have to be pretty careful with making sure that the fish eggs, the caviar you’re buying, is not from farmed low quality fish that the fish is on some type of natural diet. So the omega-6 to omega-3 ratio is correct. If we take a look at 100 grams of salmon roe, which is 200 calories, the vitamin profile is literally complete. We have a decent amount of vitamin, A all of the B vitamins, vitamin C vitamin D, vitamin E – and there is definitely vitamin K in salmon roe, because vitamin K is contained in all high quality animal foods.

The test is expensive to conduct, so sometimes they don’t test for it. The vitamin C might actually be misleading because sometimes they add ascorbic acid. As a preservative to fish eggs. Now fish eggs do contain vitamin C, but usually when you salt, the food, it loses its vitamin C content. The anti scorbutic properties of the food are lost, so I have to do some nutrient testing in the future on salmon or get more correct data.

Maybe we’ll do that later this year, the vitamin D and E content are incredibly high for an animal food. These nutrients are usually specific to higher cholesterol, animal foods such as eggs, brains and, of course, fish eggs. Fish eggs are also complete from both a mineral and element perspective as they contain every single one of them in reasonable amounts. It’s worth noting. They have a significant iodine content as well.

So if you’re consuming fish eggs on a daily basis, you probably don’t need to supplement iodine fish eggs even have conjugated linoleic acid, which has been shown to have various health benefits. They contain arachidonic acid as well a fatty acid, specific to animal foods and, just like DHA, our brains require a certain amount of arachidonic acid. Every day. Of course, fish eggs are incredibly high in epa and DHA omega-3 fatty acids.

They are unparalleled, possibly with the exception of animal brains. Of course, I wouldn’t be mr. Salmon roe if I didn’t have some for you guys to taste today. Here we have some red caviar and the beauty of this food is a testament to its nutrient profile. Up close, we see the very pretty red pearls, almost as pretty as me, and when we bring up fish eggs, we have to bring up the conversation of food palatability, how a food tastes in its raw natural state and in the case of fish eggs yeah.

They added a little bit of salt to them, but there really isn’t a tastier food in nature that hasn’t been changed, and if we’re going to look at foods in nature and ones that tastes the best without cooking them, seasoning them fermenting them. They are all animal foods. When you ferment, an animal food, you can increase the palate ability in a natural way, but a lot of the modern things we do from salting to processing to very specific cooking methods.

You know unless you’re just throwing a piece of meat over a fire. You can argue that it’s not too. Naturally, this food palatability is important because, usually how a food tastes in its natural state is an indicator of its nutrient properties. If you were to take bone now, for instance, that had been fermenting in the femur bone of an animal for a couple of weeks, because the Coyotes couldn’t break into it, then it would taste like cheese and the reason these foods taste good is because every single Nutrient in the food reflects in the taste of it.

If a food has certain vitamins, minerals, elements and fatty acids in the food, you can literally taste them in the boot. You can taste, copper, you can taste iodine, you could taste every single vitamin that’s contained in the food and when you have all the vitamins in balanced amounts like we do in fish roe, it makes sense that the food tastes amazing, and not only does it taste. Amazing in its unaltered State it also satiates you very quickly.

If you have a few tablespoons of fish roe you’re going to be full, I would love to see someone try to eat like a pound of salmon or at once. You would get a couple bites in and feel full because it’s so nutrient dense, it’s literally satiating your appetite, although there is little variance in the nutrient profile calorie for calorie the taste of fish eggs varies greatly. That’s why some fish eggs are super expensive, like sturgeon, caviar and salmon.

Roe isn’t really too expensive. The fish eggs will literally taste like the fish they are coming from. So salmon roe is going to taste like salmon when tasting fish, eggs or caviar. I believe you’re supposed to use a plastic or nonmetal spoon because it alters the taste. I’ve never really noticed this, but let’s give some of the ROE a try, there’s so much going on here. You have that cholesterol, richness, that’s specific to foods like eggs and brains.

You have a slight iodine flavor. You have. I know that complex salmon flavor it’s like tasting the ocean in the form of a scrambled egg. That’s how I would describe the flavor. The texture is like a soft pearl that pops in your mouth and then that rich cholesterol, a liquid, comes out. This is like the best food you could feed to a baby or a child. Not only would they love it, it’s like super colorful and approachable.

The salmon roe is tasty. I would give it about an 8 out of 10 from a flavor perspective, but there’s a reason. Sturgeon Roe is so much more expensive. Here I have some hackleback roe. It’s a type of sturgeon. The pearls are black. This is what you think of when you, you know when you see caviar like the black fish eggs, yeah, there’s a reason, there’s a reason. Caviar is made from sturgeon. The flavor is completely different.

It’s buttery it’s more complex. It doesn’t have as much of an iodine flavor, of course, you’re not supposed to eat caviar with the spoon like this, but I mean you’re on a carnivore, a keto diet. This is ensuring you’re not getting anything negative. Now, if you’ve never tried sturgeon roe, it can be on the expensive side, but on Franky’s free-range meat, our goal is to make everything affordable. So we are taking a profit loss and providing it to everyone, so they can experience it.

This is something that maybe I would have once or twice a month on a special occasion: it’s not prohibitively expensive, but it’s expensive enough that you couldn’t really eat it every day, whereas you could eat the salmon or every day. WHAT I EAT IN A DAY (Vegan) | Summer Edition 🌞🌴

It has been a hot minute since I uploaded a what I eat in a day article on this YouTube blog and so today I’m super excited to be sharing with you, my favorite foods that I have been enjoying in the summer season. I feel like I’m, not your typical summer, eater in the sense that I still really really enjoy my warm hearty food in this season, but regardless.

I hope this article provides some inspiration for you to get into the kitchen and get creative and enjoy the amazing plant-based food. We have on this beautiful alrighty, let’s get into the article, and this is what I ate in a day in summer, as one of my favorite things to start the day with in summer will probably come as no surprise, and it is some kind of smoothie and Milkshake iced cacao combo, most of the time today I started with some frozen bananas as well as some oats.

Then I added in some salted caramel protein as well as some cacao powder, and then I used some sweetened hemp milk to top it all off. I then blended this all together until it was a nice and smooth consistency. I use a Vitamix for most of my blending by the way and then put it up into a nice jar, and this was a really really light, but decadent way to start the day. I feel like light and decadent might cancel each other out, but yeah I really enjoy it after this.

I then decided I was feeling something savory, so I first of all started by putting 1 chopped tomato as well as a handful of corn from the can that had been washed, of course, into a bowl. I then added in the juice of half of a lime, as well as a little bit of salt. I love making this sort of fresh salsa thing to go on lots of different things. To be honest, I feel like it’s just so easy to make and tastes really good.

To be honest, I then it got a loaf of glue, free bread. This is from a bakery on the Gold Coast called Marie Anita’s, which is a fully gluten-free Bakery. It’s really really good. I got two pieces of this bread and put half of an avocado on each slice, and then I topped it off with the fresh salsa that I had made as well as some pumpkin seeds, and this is a really really refreshing and light savory meal that I Really really enjoy having in the summertime when it is just too hot to even eat toast.

You know those feels one thing that I feel like I really crave. A lot in the summer is potato. I don’t know if it’s just in Australia, but it’s just like a lifestyle kind of thing that when you’ve just gone to the beach, I feel, like my body, is always craving like potato chips and that’s all so today I decided to honor those cravings and I Cut up five white potatoes into wedge sized pieces, and then I put them in the bowl with some olive oil, and then I mix this all together with my hand, so that it was distributed evenly once that was all done and then topped it with some salt.

As well as some pepper and paprika, I also love seasoning these with, like other mixed herbs, Moroccan seasoning. Honestly, I advise you to get creative with your seasoning, because it has completely transformed my cooking world. I baked these in the oven for about 40 minutes until they were nice and crispy and served them with some vegan mayonnaise, and this was a super simple efficient, really really tasty lunch to be honest, moving on to dinner and we are making one of my favorite Meals to make at the moment in particular my housemate Sam, is so good at making this food, I started first of all with half a block of tempeh and two pieces of gluten-free bread, and I toasted them in the oven by making croutons and tempeh as you Can probably tell then in a bowl I put a few stalks of kale leaves as well as a little bit of cucumber, which I had chopped as well as the juice of half a lime.

I have been loving lime in my summer food, as you may be able to notice once that was all put in the bowl I just mixed it all together until it distributed evenly. Then I like to add one of my absolute favorite foods, which is sun-dried tomatoes. I just feel like sun-dried tomatoes are so full of flavor and they add the perfect like burst, of flavor to any dish and then once my croutons and my tempeh had been baked in the oven for long enough, I topped it like, so I then also decided To add some vegan mayonnaise on top the vegan mayonnaise I like to use, is this: follow your heart vegenaise.

They also have a garlic one which is really young, and I put this on top. So this is essentially what I like to call a vegan Caesar salad. I really really enjoy it. I know that Caesar salads are like super particular, but this is what I call it. A WEEK OF VEGAN BREAKFASTS // Easy & Delicious Recipes!

I hope you are doing very well today’s article, I’m going to show you what I ate in a week and a vegan for breakfast. In today’s article we have a healthy combination of both savory and sweet vegan. Breakfast ideas, so hopefully, if you feel a little stuck if you’re feeling a little bit repetitive, this can help you out quite a lot anyway. That’s enough for me: let’s get into the article.

This is a week of vegan breakfasts and I hope you enjoy alrighty. So on Monday morning I started my day with one of my favorite savory vegan breakfasts, and this is a chickpea scramble. I have made this many times on my youtube blog and everytime. It’s a little bit different because, as I learn and develop, I am learning the best way to make the chickpea scramble for today’s. I mashed up some chickpeas in a bowl with my hands and then I added in some nutritional yeast, plant-based, milk, salt and pepper.

Here. You could also add different spices and flavors if you would like to, but I like mine, pretty simple then over the head, I put some olive oil into a pan, allowed that to heat up and then add it into my chickpeas scramble mixture. As you can see, it looks very liquidy, but this is how I like it to be because it’s slowly but surely becomes more of like a solidified kind of vibe. If you see what’s happening there, you can pretty much see what’s going on, so I toasted two pieces of toast with this, and I then put them onto a plate with the chickpea scramble on top.

This again also would go really well with different sides like if you like to mushrooms for breakfast avocado, roasted tomatoes would all give it some more flavor. But I like mine, very, very simple. If you’ve never tried to p scramble for breakfast before, I really recommend giving it a go. Moving on to Tuesday – and I started my day with my absolute favorite smoothie bowl at the moment in a blender, I festival started with a splash of plant-based milk.

Some cacao and coconut protein frozen bananas, frozen raspberries and frozen blackberries, and I blended it all together until it had this really beautiful texture. This is pretty much the kind of texture that I like from my smoothie bowls and if you are interested by the way, I use a Vitamix for everything pretty much. It’s like the best thing that I own honestly anyway. I put this all into a bowl.

Put some fresh strawberries, some homemade chocolate, granola some peanut butter on top, and then I also put on some passion for it as well. Passion fruit is one of my favorite fruits, and it has been so good at the moment, and this is what I had for breakfast on Tuesday. The beauty of making smoothie bowls is, you, can mix them up and make so many different kinds and you’ll always be bound to find something that you like, and yet this is my personal favorite moving on to Wednesday and on Wednesday for breakfast, we are making something That I call a breakfast bruschetta and this is a great way to get your veggies in early in the day I first of all started by cutting up some cherry tomatoes.

I cut up, like I think, 10 to 12 cherry tomatoes, or something like that. If you’re new to my blog by the way, I will always put the full ingredient list down in the description box below. If you are wanting to try these at home and use the exact measurements, I put all the chopped cherry tomatoes into a bowl, and then I use some avocado and then I also put that into the bowl as well. And then I also used some fresh spring.

Onion, which is my favorite kind of onion, and then I also put in some kale, which I chopped into really fine pieces. Then I chopped a lemon in half and I used the juice of half of a lemon on top, as well as some salt and some pepper and mix that together roughly with my one, this was all nice and well mixed together. I then put two pieces of sourdough bread into the toaster until it was well, and then I put these two pieces of solder on top plate and very very simply, I just served the breakfast bruschetta mix on top again.

This is something that you could really mix up and add different stickers to if you’d like to I’ve, put a drizzle of olive oil on top for extra flavor. I love olive oil and pretty much everything as you may have noticed at this point, and that is what I had for breakfast on Wednesday moving on to Thursday, and I made a soaked, usually Bircher overnight, oats thing, whatever you would like to call it, that’s what It is, and in this one I put in oats flax, milk, chia seeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, I mix it all together roughly and then I added in some plant-based milk as well as some coconut yogurt.

It was passion, fruit, flavoured, coconut yogurt, and I mix that together then I decided I needed a little bit of extra flavor, so I added in some vanilla to it as well. You could add maple syrup or something like that. If you want it a bit more sweetness, then I put this in the fridge overnight and the next day is when I served it up for breakfast. This is a really good breakfast. If you’re someone, who is time poor and just needs to take something on the go with you in the morning as well, I just put some coconut milk, as well as some more coconut, yogurt and fresh passion fruit on top to give it a little bit more Sweetness – and that is what I had for breakfast on Thursday – again – something you can really mix up with lots of different flavors.

That’s the awesome thing about plant-based food. There is so much variety moving on to Friday and we have again roasted brekkie potatoes. Is there anything better than potatoes for breakfast? I honestly don’t know if there is so. I started by chopping up three potatoes into very small cube pieces, the smaller the better, in my opinion, for this recipe, and then I put all these potatoes into a medium-sized bowl and I drizzled them with some olive oil and also put in some salt and some Pepper then, using my hands.

I just mix this together roughly in a bowl until it was nice and well combined, and then I put it onto a lined baking tray into the oven for about like 20 to 30. Minutes obviously depends on how good your oven is. Mine is not that crash cause man in a pan. I just drizzled with some olive oil, and I put a handful of kale in there and I cooked that until it was nice and crispy. I also added a little bit of salt and pepper just for flavor and then into a bowl.

I served up the rest of potatoes with the fried kale and then also put a half of an avocado on top just for a bit of healthy fat. You can be breaking this morning and that’s what I have a break on Friday and now we’re going to move on to Saturday. It’s the weekend, yeah all righty Saturday we’re having an acai bowl one of my favorite foods in the whole entire world. I thought it was some plant-based milk, as well as some passion, fruit, coconut yogurt.

Then I followed that with some frozen bananas as well as some frozen raspberries, and then I put in my aside packet. Most of you will know by now that I love Amazonian products. I use their a savior and all of my acai bowls. I took the blender and blended this all up until it was nice and well combined and has a really nice thick consistency. And then I topped it with fresh fruit, and I went from orange and some passion, fruit and some more coconut yogurt on top and also with some peanut butter.

On top aside with that, peanut butter is not a thing, and then I had some fresh strawberries as well some chia seeds, and that is what I had for breakfast on Saturday – love a good acai bowl and love the fact that you can mix them up change. The flavor all that good stuff, okay, let’s move on to Sunday on Sunday, we are having like the most simple breakfast, but this is one that I am obsessed with at the moment, I started by first of all toasting two pieces of sourdough toast super super simple And then I put on my favorite combo, some vegan butter and some Vegemite Vegemite if you’re from Australia you’ll probably understand if you’re not most known, Australians, that I’ve met don’t like Vegemite, but I love it.

Then in a glass I started with some ice as well as some plant-based milk, and then I a chocolate mixture that I just made from water cacao, powder and maple syrup, and I had a nice little iced chocolate to go with my Vegemite toast for breakfast this Week, I hope you enjoy the article alrighty, my beautiful friend, so that is the week of being and breakfasts. 10 Minute HEALTHY Pumpkin Spice Energy Balls | Fitness Vlog

You guys are new to my blog hello subscribe down below. But if you’re my Starling famil welcome back today, you’re reading a fitness vlog look like a legit egg, it’s literally the most inconvenient spot ever for a car good morning, guys it is a Monday morning. It is 648. In the morning I just finished my first workout of the day.

It was amazing, so it was at my gym that I go to its lifetime. Fitness is the gym that I go to. I teach it. Soul beats studio, which is right, each might spin studios, but I like lift weights and like do yoga and like do other workouts at like my gym, called lifetime fitness. I know some people like tend to get confused, but that’s what’s up with that. So anyway, I just did an amazing workout. It was called chisel and it was like the best way that I can explain it.

It was like hit with a lot of strengthening and toning and a lot of weights, so it was like a high intense. I was like dripping buckets. Okay, like I am soaking, wet right now in my clothes, so I’m just really glad that I’m going home and it was a very intense workout next time that I do it. I’m not doing it next week because I’m teaching at 5:45 on a Monday, but I think I might do it saturday 8:30.

It was such an amazing, workout and I’ll try to get footage of it. I like didn’t know the vibe of the class. I don’t want to bring my phone for the first time, but now I know the vibe and I can definitely bring my phone. So I was going to like take that class and then I was going to stay in box a little bit and like do a little bit of ABS and run a little bit. But now after that class I’m going home because I am like that was a huge full body.

Workout and I don’t really see the need in working out even more. But I am going back to gym around like 8:45 9 because I’m taking 9:30 hot yoga and that’s a hot yoga class. But I was going to stay from like 5:45, literally until 10:30 p.M. In my yoga class ends because it starts at 9:30. But now I’m like wow. That was like very logical. It’s going to think that I I actually do that, so I’m not doing that! I’m going home I’m going to make like a little breakfast for myself, I’m going to change work a little bit get my stuff together, probably have a coffee or a tea, and then I’m going to come back.

Do my yoga and then get started with my day. That’s what’s up for today. All that I have on top for today is yoga at 9:30 and then I’m teaching at five o’clock spin and that’s it. So it’s very chill day here I might take bar tonight. I might go back to life time in like sauna and jacuzzi a little bit. I don’t really know what’s up yet but um yeah. That is the day, and also this is my first article with my new hair, which you can’t even really see it.

But I got my extensions taken out and I I went like way more rooted for the fall, and I also have like a little gray now. So that’s super exciting, but yeah that’s what’s up I’m getting hungry, so I’m really glad that I’m going home to eat this is the breakfast. I’ve been eating, will 80 yesterday and I’m eating it today and I’m really looking forward to it. So I have the Ezekiel English muffin with protein and a little bit of peanut butter, some bananas.

I have apples and blueberries because antioxidants and then I have my protein over here of two: there are fried eggs but they’re only fried with like I just put cooking spray down like there’s, no oil or anything so yeah, that’s breakfast and it’s super filling. You get your fats, carbs proteins, so I’m going to leave for yoga in a couple of minutes, but before I do I’m just going to make some green tea to go.

I am really freaking tired today, which is super not like me like. I’m normally never really tired when I wake up this early, so I think I might have to grab like a coffee on the way out of the yoga there’s like a cafe in lifetime, so I might just get like a cold brew or something with a little Bit of almond milk, like I don’t really want to go to yoga, I honestly just want to stay here and sleep, but it’s such a nice day out that I know the drive to the gym is going to make me like more excited to be at the Gym but if I get there and I’m late because of traffic, I’m just going to skip it and go to the mall cuz, the gym in the malls are right.

Next to each other, I’m going to buy fall candles. You might be thinking Tori. Why don’t you go to the mall after the gym um? Well, you see you see I could, but then I have to bring a change of clothes because I got really freaking sweaty after yoga and um. Do I really want to do that today? People always ask me: if I count calories, I don’t count calories. My mom thinks that I should count calories because I have very large portion sizes and I always complain that my thighs are getting big but don’t count calories um.

That’s just because, in my mind how much I work out and like how much I eat like real Whole Foods. I’m like I don’t really need to count calories. So no, I don’t count calories and also I’m just looking here on the back of the agave thing. Like if I were to count calories, you would have to count so much like how much it gava do. You think how much olive oil are using like how many blueberries you eat, like it just seems very obsessive, and to me that doesn’t always seem healthy, and I always like I caution a lot of people to not become too obsessive over what they eat and like How much they work out and like don’t really, you know it’s great to live a healthy lifestyle, but don’t let it overcome your life like.

I know for me like the way I live. My life isn’t a healthy lifestyle, which is perfectly healthy and normal, but it becomes a problem when you begin to obsess over every little thing that you do. I went to a chart on my phone. Let’s go to yoga, so I’m on my way to yoga and I don’t know why there is so much traffic, there’s normally a lot of traffic on this highway, but like around this time, it’s when it always clears out, but I’m assuming that there’s like a accident Or something because, like it’s, super slow moving and it’s I’ve been sitting in it for like so long, so I’m going to actually miss yoga.

I took my hair down because I was like ok, I’m not ruining my hair with that hair cells, I’m not and pointy yoga. So I’m going to go home and get ready for the day. I might stop on the way and like get a coffee or something, but I’m just going to go home, get ready for the day. There’s a duncan right here, so I might just go right there. I’m really sad that, like I miss as the overclass cuz, it starts in five minutes and I’m still 15 minutes away and like you can walk in late to a yoga class.

But like do I really want to be that. Well that does that like? No, I don’t ever really have to think do my coffee it or Dubai hi. Can I have an iced medium coffee with almond milk, please hi, how are you that’s what almond milk? Thank you thanks. So much have a good one god, I’m so frickin frantic every single time. I leave a drive-thru like I mean so rushed ah back for my fail of yoga kind of sad, I’m going to make pumpkin energy balls.

I’ve been wanting. It’s like freakin fall outside okay. It’s like the perfect weather, it’s fall and I don’t have anything a pumpkin in my house like for real. How sad is that dates? I have pecans, I don’t have, but I have walnuts so pumpkin puree, that’s the big kicker. Is this different than puree under scent pumpkin, whatever we’re going to use it, so I’m kind of making up my own as I go so, let’s just see how this works out place aids into a small bowl and cover with water.

So those asked me to put dates in a bowl of water. Could that’s worded very poorly if it is, I don’t have a food processor, so I’m doing this in a blender. Let’s hope one cup of deep water, pecans walnuts same difference. That looks good to me. Assert a cup of pumpkin peanut butter, I’m just going to add the rest of the peanut butter. That’s in this jar. I know that I’m going to really enjoy it in my fourth cup here, coconut flakes, I’m also going to add in some flax seed and um.

She is deep now for the spices about two teaspoons of vanilla. I have this recipe that I’m going off of, but I’m also just sort of like improvising a little bit just going to do a little love touch here of nutmeg. I’m also going to do a little lower touch here of cinnamon, and I have my pumpkin pie. Cuz, I’m freaking awesome little love touch of that some pink Himalayan salt to taste. Oh! This is where all the sugar comes in right here see how this works.

Okay, this might take me a couple of times because I have a food processor, so I’m going to have to keep like ooh. Yes, it’s it’s doing good things. So I’ve transferred everything into a bowl, I’m going to try this by hand and then I might throw it in the blender at the end again, this consistency, it’s perfect alright, so it looks like this now. This consistency is literally it’s so perfect and I’m keeping mine like a little chunky cuz.

I can’t get it perfect. I’m going to buy a food processor because I think I’m going to make balls all the time now cuz. This is seriously like freaking amazing, so you’re going to put this in the fridge for 30 minutes to let it chill and then you roll it into balls and we’ll be back. I just got ready for the day, thank God because I literally was like ugh lean. Like I was just not about that at all – and I was just feel so much better when I like have myself put together, but whatever anyway they’ve been chilling for about 30-40 minutes now.

So it’s time to roll the balls. I think I’m going to be a good good friend and drop a few of these balls off my friend’s house, because I know that she would probably want some of these. It’s first just taste: um Wow, okay, Wow, and these are really good to eat like right before a workout after workout they’re like a healthy little pumpkin spice treat, but trust me like you’ll, be eating these like crazy and there you go pumpkin spice energy balls woo.

So I’m actually going to go deliver some pumpkin boss, my friend, because she wants some but um. I feel like. I can’t continue this vlog without saying this. So today is Monday October 2nd, which means that last night in Las Vegas there is a mass shooting which is now confirmed to be the largest mass shooting in US astrayed. I really have chills saying that any families anyone affected personally my thoughts are with you.

I’m thinking of you, I have so much sympathy and my heart just aches hearing about this horrible tragedy and something absolutely needs to change. I don’t want to get into my political views. Gun control is a huge issue in our, and it is something that needs to be stopped, and I don’t know how many more mass shootings and how many more killings it takes until people under like until people realize that something needs to be changed.

You know a lot of my viewers are from Vegas and I know I’m sure there’s a couple of you that were directly affected by this, and I am just so so so sorry to hear about this and I’m so sorry that you have to go through this And I’m over here making these like pumpkin spice balls and I’m like burying my head in the sand, but like the world is such an evil place. Sometimes it’s! Oh. I can’t talk about anymore.

I’m just sorry and my thoughts are with you and I stand right. There with everyone else – and I completely agree that something needs to be done, because our people cannot keep dying from senseless deaths and murders from our own people, it’s absolutely horrible. So with that being said, I’m going to do my dishes, put some balls in a container and drive them over to my friend and just appreciate the beautiful day.

I have out in front of me and live my life. The best that I can, while also trying to just make everyone else around me, happy, and I think that’s all that we can do. That is the only way I know how to help the situation is a spread, love and not hate, and I encourage everyone else to do the same thing. Well, it’s for you. Let me try one. 2018-01-28 Keto Meal Prep/Vlog

If you follow me on Instagram, which you should at read out on pedo you’ll, see that I went to midnight bingo last night I won, which is dope only hundred and fifty dollars. I had to split the pot, but that’s fine. It was a really fun time, but I also had my first unplanned cheat meal, so I knew there was going to be pizza and everything – and I was like: oh no, I’m not going to eat, I’m going to be fine, but as the night went on it Became clear that I was like nah, I’m doing this, I’m hanging with the crew and I’m going to enjoy it.

So that’s what I did. There was Pizza Hut. There was brownies, there was caramel corn, there were fries, I mean, and it was delicious, like you know, hashtag no regrets. The thing is. If you also read my weigh-ins once you should um, you know that I weigh in on the first of the month. So that means February 1st is coming up on Thursday, but I’ve been doing like quasi weigh-ins. You know for throughout the month and honestly, I’m still at the exact same weight like I’ve lost no weight whatsoever, which I mean coming off a 15 pound loss for December.

Like I get it, you know, I’m not too upset weight, loss is linear or weight loss is not linear, I’m still making great progress. So I was just like this. Cheat is not like it’s going to derail any other progress. I’ve made for January cuz. I haven’t made it, you know now it wasn’t ideal, but at the same time you know I’m not letting it faze me. It’s not throwing me off track, I’m right back on today.

I’m going to go really hard today, so Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, see if we can get anything off for Thursday, but I mean even the fact that I’ve been able to maintain this whole month like 178 pounds. That’s a miracle, so I am just super proud. So I’m just going to have to recalculate my macros, you know adjust do what you’re supposed to do when you hit a stall and keep it moving. Super tired right now, only guys about like 5 hours of sleep, but I’m up and at them.

I know I say this every week but like super simple meal, prep, I’m just going to do ground, beef and eggs and like I literally, have no idea what I’m going to do for my second meal. So hopefully, Meyer will give me some inspiration, but I’m headed to the gym right now got my pre-workout and going to get her done. Let’s go Jesus, be free, workout, say no: Oh, okay, it’s a little after 5:00 and I am done with meal prep and I killed it today.

So let’s take a look at what we got. First, we have the scrambled eggs and ground beef, never changing it. Then we just have that random pulled pork and that bacon and cheese fried rice that I’ve just made up off the top of my head, and that is so good. Next we got my trail mix, then we have the keto connect chocolates, like I said I put them into the mini mold, so they come out in like little tabs and they are so good they’re, like my new favorite thing ever in fact, I think I’m just Going to go ahead and eat this one quality control, it’s chocolate in it’s a little salty, it’s a melty! If cold, I love to keep them in the freezer.

WHAT I EAT IN A DAY for a HEALTHY Weight Loss (vegan)

But it’s really hard because the clouds kidding I mean the Sun gets in and out of the clouds and it keeps getting really dark and it keeps getting really bright and this is really a struggle. You know the Monday morning, Jay King, but yeah, welcome to new weather eat. In a day it’s been a while. I haven’t done one of those today I want to thank life Sam for partnering with me on this article, which is a nutrition tracking app.

If you haven’t seen the latest article that I’ve posted on my blog, I talked about kind of my health problems that I went through during 2019 and I basically told you about my weight gain. I told you about the fact that I lost my natural appetite cues and I stopped intuitive eating for that matter. Anyways like I, really encourage you to check out that article. If you want to know more of why I started tracking what I eat, so I’m so excited for this partnership, because I started using Lifeson before this collaboration.

So it’s just really nice because I get to talk to you about an app that I really really am using and I find really cool. I also told you about this in my latest article, but I am doing a cure of vitamin, and so each morning I’m inside ok with one two three pills: this is a brand that I’ve been using. It’s definitely not sponsored, but it’s just work. This is a probiotic. This is for my liver problems, and this is for my skin.

I just have that with water. That’s the first thing I have in the morning. Is it really a surprise? If I tell you that I have oatmeal in the morning, I think not I have bananas need to be eaten. I think so. I’m going to have one in there mashed, so using a banana is really good because it helps to sweeten the oatmeal without adding sugar blueberries, approximately 70 grams bout, half a cup, a cup blueberries.

This gets really beautiful, nice, nice, nice, adding frozen blueberries, really helps to cool down the preparation, so that is like really good temperature for the tummy to eat. It’s not good to eat frozen food and it’s not good to eat hot food. So this is kind of the perfect temperature, so yogurt tablespoon 10 grams mix. That again together. Look at that. This is where things have been changing from me.

Add just a couple of getting the calash pepitas. This is really really interesting. This is pumpkin seeds, flour and it’s really rich in protein, so I just add, like a tablespoon of it, just adding that tahini teaspoon not too much. If you know I’m ready to have my breakfast now, let’s just see what like some says about this breakfast, I’m going to add breakfast now. I could do one by one everything, but because it’s a meal that I know works really well and is really balanced.

I have saved it to my favorite and this is a premium feature, but basically I just go to meals and it’s called the perfect oatmeal. This is not the calories, it has. The perfect oatmeal one serving has everything that I’ve just put to my oatmeal track, and if I come back, okay done there, it is 430 calories, I’m actually going to add some chia seeds. That’s not in my recipe. I have added seven today: five, not even four grams: that’s it total breakfast, perfect, healthy, liver protein, healthy liver clubs, healthy little fat, rich in fiber calories and track everything’s.

In tracked, honestly, I was very surprised when I started using this app and I was inputting my normal breakfast. I thought that was really healthy, but I realize how unbalanced it was, and I have enough protein and the facts were way too high. And so I’m really happy because I think of it with the app and see like what breakfast would taste good and be very well-balanced, and this is it. This is a perfect oatmeal, so yeah.

I really encourage you to download this app and just check if your current breakfast is like balanced lunch time. I kind of want to try a new recipe today and see if that works out. I have something in my mind, but I don’t know if it’s going to work, but if it does, I think it’s going to be a good recipe. I want to do the idea of an omelet but obviously vegan, I’m going to use a potato carrot. Some broccoli, some cauliflower and then I’m like the doll ways: chickpea, flour, rice, flour, so meal, something like that in dough.

So that’s the plan. Now, let’s do it expectations vs. Reality? Oh well, it’s definitely not what I wanted yeah. This is my lunch. So basically, all I did was editing articles on my computer. It’s pretty gloomy outside it’s pretty cold. It’s pretty moody, doing a little break out of the computer. I am going to make myself some chai latte with soy milk, very simple recipes that I have my ebook and after that I think I’ll just work a little bit more, my computer and then I will work out and then what do I have planned? Yes, I need to think about a new class for the week yoga class for dinner.

I decided to make a recipe out of the remaining things that I had in my fridge, which were vegetables and some red rice that I had cooked a few days ago. So I start to chop my shallots, my mushrooms, everything that needs to be chopped, and I start to heat that up in a pan using no oil, because I don’t find that it’s really useful. I use a little bit of curry, spice mixed that well and when it started to cook I add the zucchini again mix that well and then once it’s reduced a little bit, I add my cooked rice, not too long.

This is really the last step of the recipe I add a full can of coconut milk, and that makes it really creamy. It’s like a little risotto, but obviously very short in time, and I finish with the greens, broccoli, because greens really don’t need to be cooked for a lot of time. As I mentioned, this recipe makes two serves, so what I did is I split it in half and on the ad I entered my new recipe for two serves.

What I really like is this little feature. You can scan pretty much anything. It finds everything it’s incredible and then I added the remaining ingredients and I also decided to top it with some nutritional yeast dinner is served, so it smells amazing. I love it. I’m going to check with you so the app basically says I’ve eaten a bit too much fat and that’s just basically because of the coconut I’m going to put that down before it.

It’s just because of the coconut milk that I put a lot off. I don’t eat coconut milk every day, so that’s totally fine. Overall, I think the day is pretty balanced and for now I just think that this will fill me up and I won’t be hungry after. If I really feel the need to eat, I will eat. I will not like let this app dictate my eating, but it’s a really good way for me to kind of realize what I’ve been eating and I like that.

The focus is not just on calories, and it gives you a lot of tips on how to make your meals more balanced. It gives you recipes and stuff. If you go premium, you have like a lot more choice and also it’s great because it tracks the activities that I have in my Apple read so yeah. It kind of puts it into the calories that I kind of need for my day, which is great. You see like I am really fine using that kind of app and I’m like I’ve, never had an eating disorder.

I just want to say – and I probably should have said that at the start of this article, but I just want to say that I don’t think it’s healthy to track what you’re eating. If you have trouble with food, if you have some sort of eating disorder, as I told you in the previous article, I’m trying to lose weight, and I’m also trying to regain my natural appetite, because I lost a sense of what each food bringing me.

Because of our mental issues, and so for me, it’s really helpful. I think it teaches my body again what’s the value of each food and it teaches me a lot about how my meals are actually balanced or not, but yeah. I know that I’m able to take some step back from it all I wanted to say I really don’t want to promote something that would make your health indenter otherwise like if you’re fine with eating, and you just have a like a little goal or you just Want to eat healthier.

I think this is a really really good way to do it. It’s very easy to use didn’t take a lot of time. It’s really nicely integrated, but yeah. This is my day of eating.
