Wellness Routine + Healthy Habits

They have everything from like nutrition bar new protein powders, pink hair. To make up the things everyone talks about, but you’re kind of like where the heck do you get that’s where so I will have all the products that I specifically talk about linked below as well as I are the site, it’s a really great resource. This is like a lot of info know that you can always pick and choose which habits you want to incorporate.

It would mean a lot to me and also go ahead and follow my Instagram if you’re interested, so what the first product category that I wanted to mention was essential oils, and I’ve talked about these recently in some of my articles. But I’ve been absolutely love.

Oil diffusing also, you can use essential oils in other ways as well. Those are two that I picked up for. My herb are the eucalyptus and teacher oil, which I love to diffuse throughout my phase II as they’re, both very calming and earthy cents, but they can also be used on their own use, tea tree oil as a spot treatment for my acne. If you guys have been following me for a while, you know that I really struggle with acne.

I know it doesn’t seem like it, I’m wearing a ton of makeup. To be honest, so teacher oil actually works as a spa trip, but you don’t want to use it all over your face. I have this written down, excited onna pronounce it, but it unblocked the sebaceous gland acts as like a solvent. So, since teacher oil is an oil, don’t go in and kind of break up the dirt and lift and remove it away. It’s like a natural antibacterial, disinfectants, anti-inflammatory as well, and then eucalyptus is amazing.

It’s very calming to me. It feels like a spa like you. Can also mix it with like a little bit of lip balm and put it underneath your nose if you’re feeling sick, it’s like a natural decongestant, so those are my two favorite essential oils. I also love lavender and a bunch of other blends, but you can find like pretty much every essentially on. I are checking with the oil trials on some facial oils that I love incorporating into my skincare routine.

So the first one is rose Hedy Doyle, it’s packed with vitamin A and C which are like two of the best ones to use for your skin. It’s also filled with antioxidants and fatty acids, so it really helps to like firm and plump the skin, and it also helps with acne scar fading as well as acne in general and oil that I wanted to talk about. Omers, cocoa butter formula, multi effect perfecting facial oil, I’m obsessed with this stuff.

I love this Palmer’s cocoa butter brand. I use their coconut body lotion as well as their coconut oil. This oil particular also smells amazing a little bit more like sweet almond oil in it. So I’m assuming that’s where it’s coming from skin perfecting ingredients, its cocoa butter, which is a protective plan to extract retina, which I always look for products with retinol, because it increases cell turnover.

It’s really good for anti-aging, as well as acne vitamin C, which brightens complexion in tone and then vitamin E which helps prevent cell oxidation and then there’s also 9pr oils. I usually do the rosehip seed oil at night and then the perfecting facial oil in the morning and at the skincare Department. I also picked up a face mask and I love face max face mask. Why can I not speak for the purpose of yes? They are good for your skin, everyone smile, but also to me they’re such a self-care thing like putting on a face, mask and really calming and relaxing to me.

I love a good clay mask. I know my roommates are a really big fan of the one that you mix with apple cider, vinegar. I think that one’s a little bit too harsh for me, I’m trying out this one. It is the French green clay, facial treatment. I love a clay mask, though really good for tightening and firming and drying out impurities, easy it just mixed with water, and it’s made of a 100 % French green clay.

I am can’t smile or move my face. Get next topic on. My list is daily vitamins. My recently incorporated two new vitamins, which I want to talk about magnesium and b12. These pill container, like your parents, have these, but once I got one of these and actually started to take this seriously, it’s like such a lifesaver that magnesium is written down, density, a better sleep, reducing stress and anxiety, and it regulates kind of like all of your Bodily functions in terms of vitamins I do it is best to get your vitamins from your Whole Foods, so foods that are also high in my museum or to dark leafy greens see the nuts dark chocolate and avocado.

It can never hurt to supplement on the side neck by teaming that I wanted to talk about the 12. So this is a fully active b12 again from dr. E fest with an increasing mood. Is it’s linked to serotonin and then it also improves energy levels, levels cell production in skin, hair and nails, and red blood cell nation and red font cells, bring oxygen to all of your different organs throughout the body.

Just basically like the key components to a healthy diet or most famous things, is the fat for smoothies after you drink one of these green smoothies. You feel like one of those memes, that’s like you drink like or you eat broccoli. It’s like I’m, the epitome of health, like that’s how I feel after one of these smoothie is super great way to incorporate all of these superfood powders that you may not be getting in your diet.

I’ve been doing the green superfood by amazing girl, wheatgrass barley, grass, spirulina spinach beet carrot, hace, broccoli and other supplement. I like to add to my smoothies as organic maca root powder. This stuff actually tastes. It smells kind of good and caramel e, something it also helped. Your athletic endurance, great as like a pre-workout meal, I’ll list, the greens with people in the description she will give it a try.

It’s like my favorite thing right now. I wanted to talk about another type of juice that I’ve been doing, which LRU juice all your juice for about two amazing for your digestive system, verifying your bloodstream as well as like purging your body of toxin. Do it is first thing in the morning, so your body can absorb all of the nutrients and then just have plain celery juice. Don’t add anything to it, so highly recommend the dark chocolate – and this is the primal chocolate eating evolved.

If you’re looking for a healthy alternative to crave your sweet tooth, this one is really good. I’ve already eaten the bar, of course. My last and final habit is tongue scraping, and this is an error’ Vedic. I think I’m pronouncing that probably wrong. I actually learned about this from the skinny confidential we’ve talked about before she swears my tongue scraping. What you want to do is the first thing you do when you get up in the morning is: go wash your face, brush your teeth and scrape your tongue as you sleep your mouth and face build bacteria.

The first thing that you want to do before you drink any water and take all that bacteria back into your system is get it out, and I’m literally just about to pack this to go home to Minnesota with me, helps with bad breath. So if you’re struggling with that, I’m honestly a huge proponent of dental hygiene love this right, I think I’m officially done. I think I’ve talked about every health thing that I’ve been doing lately it.

2017-12-10 Keto Meal Prep/Vlog

I got my pre-workout here, I’m going to drink, so I went to a Brazilian steakhouse yesterday. It’s one of those places where you just sit down and they parade and meats around to you, and it was my second time being in a place like that, and I just don’t get it I mean especially being on the keto diet.

I appreciate it that that the majority of the fare was just like high-quality meat. I really get it, but I’m just still not impressed like give me some 80/20 ground beef and you know some canned chicken any day. You know those places just aren’t my jam. Okay off to the gym, if you follow me on instagram you’ll, remember that I somehow ran over my bluetooth headphones with my car a couple days ago, so kicking it old-school on the treadmill for a while.

I’m not pleased just at home from the gym and Meyer. At the gym did the standard 60 minutes on the treadmill, but I played with the elevation this time. That’s why I was able to see more variance in my calorie burn. It was great. I also signed up for the Triple Crown of running I’m in Louisville Kentucky and that’s where the Kentucky Derby is, though, in horse racing. The Triple Crown is the Kentucky Derby, the Belmont Stakes and the Preakness.

I think so in Louisville leading up to the Derby. We have a Triple Crown of running, which is just three races. The first race is a 5k than two weeks later. It’s a 10k, then, two weeks later, it’s a ten-miler, so it’s just a fun way to exercise and get in the Derby mood. So that’ll be happening next year. I did it last year for the first time I didn’t train. I didn’t do anything at all. I was like you know what I feel like running, so I signed up did all of the races, the ten-miler I’m talking about no training whatsoever, and it was one of the funnest things I’ve ever done like it definitely took a toll on my body, not as Young as I used to be, but it was so fun in something that I knew that I just had to keep doing so.

I was excited to see that the signups were back at Planet Fitness. I made sure to get signed up and I’m ready for the new year. Well, I’m just going to put these groceries up. Then I’m probably going to get something to eat, and then I will jump in the meal prep. So this is actually what I decided to have for lunch. It was my lasagna in a bowl from last week, so I just used the ground-up meat and sausage and I added some ricotta and mozzarella and put it in the microwave for a minute.

Now I’m going back on top with some parmesan and there you have it lasagna in a bowl. You really don’t even miss the noodles. This is actual meal prep. So now we’re starting off with the one pound of 80/20, grass-fed ground beef, and this is going to be used for my cheeseburger in a bowl. I make a spice mixture of cumin, onion powder, garlic powder and chili powder, as well as salt, to go on the meat.

Once that’s done. I set it aside and now I moved on to the scrambled eggs that I’m going to have so I started off with 1 tbsp of ghee and now I’m throwing in 12 eggs and I’m doing what I call a lazy scramble, which is where I scrambled them Right in the pan, because I didn’t feel like getting another Bowl dirty so just scramble those on up and set those to the side as well. Next, I’m melting some butter for the keto Connect, gingerbread spice cake, I’m going to melt and Brown that butter and apparently melting butter is difficult.

So I decided to take a water break more specifically a vitamin water break. Now I’m just putting the rest of the spice cake together the gingerbread cake, so we have our coconut flour or with four tall ginger, cinnamon and allspice that we’re going to add to the brown butter can’t forget those eggs and some maple extract. Now, I’m just adding in the dry ingredients to the wet and that’s going to form the batter for the spice cake.

It turned out to be a really good consistency and also taste really good. Instead of making one big cake, I decided to make 24 mini muffins, while those are in the oven. I moved on to chopping up some vegetables, so here we have my onion and we have jalapeno and these are going to be toppings for the cheeseburger salad. Next, I am shredding up some sharp cheddar, and this is twofold. This is cheddar for the eggs in the morning and cheddar for my cheeseburger salad.

Next, I’ve moved on to the keto Connect fudgy cookies, so I’m mixing some powdered, erythritol or swerve with cocoa powder and I’m melting in the butter, eggs and vanilla. I also threw in some peppermint extract to make these mint chocolate cookies. We have the baking powder and then the almond flour comes next, given that a good mix, I sort of just formed them into ten blobs and place them on a silicon mat and put them in the oven.

Finally, we’re bringing up the rear with the cream cheese frosting for the mini muffins, okay, it is 5:20 and I’m done with mill prep for the evening. So, let’s see what we got here, all right so for breakfast or meal, one I’m going to be having the scrambled eggs that I made and some broccoli and cauliflower that broccoli and cauliflower. I just bought those steamed fresh bags from the store. So I literally just put them in the microwave and then once they cooled.

I put them with the broccoli and cauliflower, and then I’m also going to be having two pieces of bacon in the morning as well. So eggs, broccoli, cauliflower and bacon is going to be breakfast. Oh also, that cheese that I shredded right here, that’s going to go on the eggs and then for the second meal. So I do intermittent fasting, so I only eat twice a day. So my second meal is going to be cheeseburger salad, so I just take lettuce.

Take that ground beef that I made top it with bacon and cheese. Oh and that onion, that onion and jalapeno that I cut up will go on top of that as well and then as well as this like chipotle aioli. Usually I just do like mayo and spicy mustard, or something just to kind of give it like a dressing. But that is what I have in the afternoon for desserts this week. I have both keto connect. This is their chocolatey fudge, cookie not going to lie, but once on their website looks so much prettier, but these actually taste really good and I did go ahead and put peppermint extract in there.

So they’re like mint chocolate, cookies and they’re really good. Next, we have the gingerbread cake recipe they just came out with, I decided to make them into little mini muffins, and that was a score as well. We found some dessert winners this week, so that was exciting. So now I’m just going to pack all this stuff up, but in the fridge and chill out for the rest of the night. 2018-01-28 Keto Meal Prep/Vlog

If you follow me on Instagram, which you should at read out on pedo you’ll, see that I went to midnight bingo last night I won, which is dope only hundred and fifty dollars. I had to split the pot, but that’s fine. It was a really fun time, but I also had my first unplanned cheat meal, so I knew there was going to be pizza and everything – and I was like: oh no, I’m not going to eat, I’m going to be fine, but as the night went on it Became clear that I was like nah, I’m doing this, I’m hanging with the crew and I’m going to enjoy it.

So that’s what I did. There was Pizza Hut. There was brownies, there was caramel corn, there were fries, I mean, and it was delicious, like you know, hashtag no regrets. The thing is. If you also read my weigh-ins once you should um, you know that I weigh in on the first of the month. So that means February 1st is coming up on Thursday, but I’ve been doing like quasi weigh-ins. You know for throughout the month and honestly, I’m still at the exact same weight like I’ve lost no weight whatsoever, which I mean coming off a 15 pound loss for December.

Like I get it, you know, I’m not too upset weight, loss is linear or weight loss is not linear, I’m still making great progress. So I was just like this. Cheat is not like it’s going to derail any other progress. I’ve made for January cuz. I haven’t made it, you know now it wasn’t ideal, but at the same time you know I’m not letting it faze me. It’s not throwing me off track, I’m right back on today.

I’m going to go really hard today, so Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, see if we can get anything off for Thursday, but I mean even the fact that I’ve been able to maintain this whole month like 178 pounds. That’s a miracle, so I am just super proud. So I’m just going to have to recalculate my macros, you know adjust do what you’re supposed to do when you hit a stall and keep it moving. Super tired right now, only guys about like 5 hours of sleep, but I’m up and at them.

I know I say this every week but like super simple meal, prep, I’m just going to do ground, beef and eggs and like I literally, have no idea what I’m going to do for my second meal. So hopefully, Meyer will give me some inspiration, but I’m headed to the gym right now got my pre-workout and going to get her done. Let’s go Jesus, be free, workout, say no: Oh, okay, it’s a little after 5:00 and I am done with meal prep and I killed it today.

So let’s take a look at what we got. First, we have the scrambled eggs and ground beef, never changing it. Then we just have that random pulled pork and that bacon and cheese fried rice that I’ve just made up off the top of my head, and that is so good. Next we got my trail mix, then we have the keto connect chocolates, like I said I put them into the mini mold, so they come out in like little tabs and they are so good they’re, like my new favorite thing ever in fact, I think I’m just Going to go ahead and eat this one quality control, it’s chocolate in it’s a little salty, it’s a melty! If cold, I love to keep them in the freezer.

Best summer cocktail recipe low carb

Here’s a nice low-carb recipe for you that I concocted after much experimentation and I think it’s a pretty decent, refreshing and buzz worthy drink that you can enjoy this summer or any day for that matter.

But it’s a good summer drink, cuz, it’s cold and refreshing. So, basically, what it is, it’s a low carb drink made with a combination of spiked Seltzer’s and a little bit of vodka and some non-alcoholic seltzer and ice, of course, in a big giant Cup. But basically here here the ingredients you start out with. I choose the Smirnoff spiked sparkling seltzer, it doesn’t matter what flavor in this case and I’ll tell you why, in a minute, the second ingredient is a can of crooking marker spiked, Seltzer spiked.

What I forget, the exact spiked and sparkling, or something like that. I chose peach because I’ve tried a bunch of the flavors, not all of them, but I chose peach because it made this drink. What it is, it’s sort of like a peach. What do you call those schnapps it had? It had a really good taste, and the next thing you need to buy is a 50 milliliter airline bottle of vodka. Now I have tried a lot of vodkas and they are very different in terms of how you might feel the next day.

I recommend the Western Sun brand, it’s a dollar for a 50 milliliter bottle and one little bottle of that makes for 32 ounce drinks. That’s a gallon of summer cocktails you’ll, see when I explain in a minute, and you also need to have on hand some non-alcoholic flavored seltzer. I like the shop right-brain because they’re cheap right now. I see, I still think they’re a 40 cents, a liter which makes about two drinks give or take maybe a little more than two drinks in this recipe and, of course, you’re going to need a scale.

You don’t need it if you, if you’re, really an expert, and you can do it all by eye. But I recommend for the first few drinks that you use a kitchen scale because you’re going to weigh instead of a measuring cup, it’s just a faster way of making the drink instead of pouring in a measuring cup and so on. Because some some of the measurements are going to be very little and it’s good to have a scale wait and next year I like using 32 ounce ball jars or mason jars.

They’re called, but you know, fill it up with a certain amount ice. Not all the way, depending on whether your drinks are previously refrigerated, you feel it about a quarter or a third of the way with ice. That’s you can adjust that to your preferences later on and and that’s it and basically what I like to do is I add ginger powder, like a half a teaspoon of ginger powder, 1/4 teaspoon. I forget how much that’s and I put a squirt of lemon juice in before I put the the ice jar on the scale and what you do is you put the ice jar on the scale and tore it out or in in my case I just turned The scale on with the the weight already on and it zeros out right in the beginning.

But what if you know how to use a kitchen scale, you tore it out and it resets it to zero. And then then it starts counting everything that you add in. So what I like to do is I put a I put the the drink on the scale and I put 12 milliliters between 12 and 13. It’s actually twelve and a half, but my scale doesn’t measure that low 12 to milliliters of vodka in that’s one quarter of an airline bottle.

Yes, you only use a little bit and then next, what I do is I put in six ounces or half a can of Smirnoff spiked sparkling seltzer. I picked that because this Smirnoff spiked sparkling Seltzer, with the exception of the Pina Colada, which is the king of the hill, still it’s not the most flavorful drink, and now I mean it, but it’s a good drink cause. It’s a very low carb one half a gram of carbs per half can and it’s a good buzz.

It’s a nice buzz. So the next thing I put in is 1/4 of one can of crook and marker low-carb CELTA. They use a riff at all to sweeten that drink and it you one can straight is ridiculously sweet. It’s overly sweet for people like us at least maybe some people like that level of sweetness, especially if they’re used to eating a lot of sugar in their life. But anyway, I put I determined after much experimentation that a quarter can was plenty of flavor to make your refreshing summer cocktail, not too overwhelming or not too sweet tasting, so that works out to about 2.

8 ounces or, if you want to you know, I highly recommend You just keep the scale on milliliters it’s about 70 milliliters of fluid and by the way, there’s six ounces of Smirnoff before was about a hundred and 70 milliliters. So you got 12 milliliters of vodka 170 milliliters of Smirnoff spiked sparkling seltzer and 70 milliliters of or was it 80? I think I can’t remember any more than 70 or 80. Oh god.

I can’t remember where I don’t have my notes, but anyway maybe it is 80, 80 milliliters of crook and marker. And then you fill the rest up with your seltzer and stir it up and you’re good to go and it’s it’s damn delicious and it works out to be the same amount of alcohol as just you drinking one of cells around four and a half percent alcohol Per 12 ounces, but when you consider that it’s a mason jar filled with ice and other Seltzer, it cuts the alcohol down to about half.

So my guess is, and that includes the ice melt in the process. My guess is it’s about a two and a half percent or two and a quarter percent alcohol drink and it’s very refreshing you can drink. So you can. All you really need is two cans of Smirnoff spiked sparkling seltzer. That makes four drinks one can of crook and marker. That also makes four drinks and one little airline bottle of Western Sun vodka.

I recommend and your ice and maybe two liters of other Seltzer is all you need and, like I said, lemon juice or any other kind of additive you want to put in there, but extremely refreshing and for four will be good for a long afternoon or a Nice evening drinking that’s a gallon of flu. That’s all! So, supposing you don’t let all the ice melt? Maybe it’s a 110 ounces of fluid, that’s enough to keep most average human beings quenched and satisfied, but it truly is something especially if you have a nice pool or a nice patio with the umbrellas and nice tables it.

It’s a great drink to enjoy this summer and it won’t mess you up for won’t mess you up. I should do a little footnote here. That’s my body weight, I’m 200 pounds, your own little alcohol barometer will vary. I mean I wouldn’t recommend a hundred pound girl drink, four of them definitely going to wreck them and also be very careful and and try not to use more than the recommended amount of vodka that I suggested 12 milliliters per drink.

Because if you use more, you will easily over drink and it won’t hit until it’s too late and you’re going to feel pretty woozy and crappy the next day. If you drink too much vodka mixed in this I’ve had that happen to me more than once twice to be exact, and I actually was almost useless the following day. If I I think I tripled the amount of vodka, I was putting like 30 something 30 or 40 milliliters in I almost doubled the alcohol.

My journey, I was drinking like six or eight percent drinks and I drank six of them and I was a wreck. So if you care about throttling your alcohol, you really need to stay in control of how much you put in it, because that vodka, that vodka can really cause trouble for you, but this is a good drink. Let me try it please someone at least one person. Please try it it’s a it’s a fun drink to enjoy, and it’s not expensive and that’s it.

A Weird Way To Cook PUMPKIN SEEDS!!

Is it her long, hair good morning, guys? Okay, so we are adult aday and grace is in her car seat and Austin’s going to be in his car and I’m going to be in this car and we were driving to get our oil change. Hopefully, in both cars and we’re hoping it’s not going to be like a huge weight, if not, we might have to mess around walmart for a long time and just see we can get into you, huh pissed, off no babe.

Are we getting chipotle on the way gluten-free? Oh yeah, Mary kept guys, we dropped off Austin’s car at walmart to get the oil changed. This is the one that needs it works. So it’s like an hour and treatments. Is that what they said, yeah yeah, it’s like an hour 20 minute way. You said we’re like you know what let’s not to mind today, maybe when we get back, if we have time or when we go back in, we feel like we still need to do.

Some things we can see him how long it will take so we’re at ok, baby she’s, cheap me, but the other one is this week. I am so hungry and jaboulet sounds so good right now. What I could eat, but grace is asleep. So we’re going to let her sleep a little bit longer because she was not happy to be in the car. You know she was very angry. She was even crying. She was like yeah we’re getting ready to go in just want to update you guys and we always go to walmart to change our oil.

I know some people are like that seems really dumb, because you can just change your own oil. It’s not that we don’t understand how to change your oil or anything like that, but with my car – and I don’t know specifically yours and what was at the normal price – hmm yeah. So it’s sixteen dollars, you guys for 1669 or something like that to change your oil at walmart, which is cheaper than if you buy the filter, the oil and just those things it’s cheaper to just go and get it done.

Have someone else do it? So that’s what we just have someone else to it. So yeah, it’s just a lot cheaper and that way you don’t have to do it yourself. You just drive your car to walmart and then you shop at walmart. Well, your change. We just got our food guys. We’re going to eat really quick, I am so hungry. It looks so good. You want to eat baby to my son. We made it. Oh, yes, we get driving on the way home and we stopped and picked up some stuff at walmart, which we actually have to go through and play, but um yeah.

It was interesting. We, like I said we didn’t get my car down, but we got austin’s to car done, so that was the one that we really needed to do either way we got something done and walmart sucks for food. We were supposed to get especially that one yeah. I trust you that one wasn’t like a supercenter whatever, and so we were supposed to get like a lot more groceries and we got like not even a fourth of what we needed.

It was like just random stuff. Basically, mommy said, I’m sorry, hey one, two one. Two three I’m exhausted, though you guys we have not been getting enough sleep. We have been staying up way too late and just huh there’s not yet enough sleep, but ones update you guys, really quick on how the working out has been um. I’m definitely still doing it. I am definitely still gluten free um going on. I have no clue how many days, but I have yet to have any gluten on purpose that I’ve been aware of, for hey.

Did you guys know of since I started so lot of time? So it’s like a week and a half I think now or something like that. May I help you miss, but yeah, so it has been going good on the gluten part, but I just had this such a lack of sleep that my ability to actually work out has gone down. I’m sure I could still do it, but I just I’m just so tired. I don’t have very much motivation. I don’t know if it’s my eating habits that have changed that or not getting enough food or something I don’t know, but I am still working out, but not like every single day like I was, and I don’t plan to stop working out no matter what I Want to continue what i’m doing, but it has been.

I think, two days since I worked out last and then like I was doing like at least every other day before that and then a lot of times. I would be like two days in a row skip one two days in a row skip one kind of thing, so it’s not bad. I mean i’m still definitely working out doing the same exact routine that I shared with you guys on Twitter. I’m really really just trying to figure out what is best for me in my body and what can make me feel better because I’ve just been struggling with this just this type of deal for far too long, and i’m just i’m ready to start feeling better and Getting healthy and everything alright guys, so we just finished up dinner.

I’m trying to get cleaned up awesome just went down really quick just for a minute. Where was all over you, but grace is currently over here, playing in the pots and pans having a good old time mm-hmm and I am making the pumpkin seeds. So I don’t know the actual way that you’re really supposed to do these. But this is like super good, the way that I’ve done it. This is me that my dad’s always done it, but basically I just have this on medium to medium.

Highish really don’t want to come too fast north of come to slow. That’s the tricky part! You don’t be too mean like hard and all that we do in the movies crispy. So I put a bunch of butter in there and then like a little bit of oil just to help make them crispy, and then you just spread them this way. There’s the final guys Oh runaway baby mm-hmm, but I overcooked him a little bit on one side. So that stinks, but they still taste okay and then they take a lot of salt and then I also put a napkin underneath because they’re super greasy with the way.

I cook to them, and I’m sure, there’s many actual wastes and my recipes to do this, but this is just how I do it and is really good this way. Hey. You know myself, what’s good, thank you big yeah. I think they’re going to crispy mm-hmm right. I, like them, crispy all right, hey, I feel like today’s vlog is everywhere. I don’t feel like. We did very good today with flogging what I really was hoping to blog, so I hope it doesn’t suck, but i’m going to go ahead and end today’s vlog with a snap, because I do have one from a very special viewer.

Best summer cocktail recipe low carb

Here’s a nice low-carb recipe for you that I concocted after much experimentation and I think it’s a pretty decent, refreshing and buzz worthy drink that you can enjoy this summer or any day for that matter.

But it’s a good summer drink, cuz, it’s cold and refreshing. So, basically, what it is, it’s a low carb drink made with a combination of spiked Seltzer’s and a little bit of vodka and some non-alcoholic seltzer and ice, of course, in a big giant Cup. But basically here here the ingredients you start out with. I choose the Smirnoff spiked sparkling seltzer, it doesn’t matter what flavor in this case and I’ll tell you why, in a minute, the second ingredient is a can of crooking marker spiked, Seltzer spiked.

What I forget, the exact spiked and sparkling, or something like that. I chose peach because I’ve tried a bunch of the flavors, not all of them, but I chose peach because it made this drink. What it is, it’s sort of like a peach. What do you call those schnapps it had? It had a really good taste, and the next thing you need to buy is a 50 milliliter airline bottle of vodka. Now I have tried a lot of vodkas and they are very different in terms of how you might feel the next day.

I recommend the Western Sun brand, it’s a dollar for a 50 milliliter bottle and one little bottle of that makes for 32 ounce drinks. That’s a gallon of summer cocktails you’ll, see when I explain in a minute, and you also need to have on hand some non-alcoholic flavored seltzer. I like the shop right-brain because they’re cheap right now. I see, I still think they’re a 40 cents, a liter which makes about two drinks give or take maybe a little more than two drinks in this recipe and, of course, you’re going to need a scale.

You don’t need it if you, if you’re, really an expert, and you can do it all by eye. But I recommend for the first few drinks that you use a kitchen scale because you’re going to weigh instead of a measuring cup, it’s just a faster way of making the drink instead of pouring in a measuring cup and so on. Because some some of the measurements are going to be very little and it’s good to have a scale wait and next year I like using 32 ounce ball jars or mason jars.

They’re called, but you know, fill it up with a certain amount ice. Not all the way, depending on whether your drinks are previously refrigerated, you feel it about a quarter or a third of the way with ice. That’s you can adjust that to your preferences later on and and that’s it and basically what I like to do is I add ginger powder, like a half a teaspoon of ginger powder, 1/4 teaspoon. I forget how much that’s and I put a squirt of lemon juice in before I put the the ice jar on the scale and what you do is you put the ice jar on the scale and tore it out or in in my case I just turned The scale on with the the weight already on and it zeros out right in the beginning.

But what if you know how to use a kitchen scale, you tore it out and it resets it to zero. And then then it starts counting everything that you add in. So what I like to do is I put a I put the the drink on the scale and I put 12 milliliters between 12 and 13. It’s actually twelve and a half, but my scale doesn’t measure that low 12 to milliliters of vodka in that’s one quarter of an airline bottle.

Yes, you only use a little bit and then next, what I do is I put in six ounces or half a can of Smirnoff spiked sparkling seltzer. I picked that because this Smirnoff spiked sparkling Seltzer, with the exception of the Pina Colada, which is the king of the hill, still it’s not the most flavorful drink, and now I mean it, but it’s a good drink cause. It’s a very low carb one half a gram of carbs per half can and it’s a good buzz.

It’s a nice buzz. So the next thing I put in is 1/4 of one can of crook and marker low-carb CELTA. They use a riff at all to sweeten that drink and it you one can straight is ridiculously sweet. It’s overly sweet for people like us at least maybe some people like that level of sweetness, especially if they’re used to eating a lot of sugar in their life. But anyway, I put I determined after much experimentation that a quarter can was plenty of flavor to make your refreshing summer cocktail, not too overwhelming or not too sweet tasting, so that works out to about 2.

8 ounces or, if you want to you know, I highly recommend You just keep the scale on milliliters it’s about 70 milliliters of fluid and by the way, there’s six ounces of Smirnoff before was about a hundred and 70 milliliters. So you got 12 milliliters of vodka 170 milliliters of Smirnoff spiked sparkling seltzer and 70 milliliters of or was it 80? I think I can’t remember any more than 70 or 80. Oh god.

I can’t remember where I don’t have my notes, but anyway maybe it is 80, 80 milliliters of crook and marker. And then you fill the rest up with your seltzer and stir it up and you’re good to go and it’s it’s damn delicious and it works out to be the same amount of alcohol as just you drinking one of cells around four and a half percent alcohol Per 12 ounces, but when you consider that it’s a mason jar filled with ice and other Seltzer, it cuts the alcohol down to about half.

So my guess is, and that includes the ice melt in the process. My guess is it’s about a two and a half percent or two and a quarter percent alcohol drink and it’s very refreshing you can drink. So you can. All you really need is two cans of Smirnoff spiked sparkling seltzer. That makes four drinks one can of crook and marker. That also makes four drinks and one little airline bottle of Western Sun vodka.

I recommend and your ice and maybe two liters of other Seltzer is all you need and, like I said, lemon juice or any other kind of additive you want to put in there, but extremely refreshing and for four will be good for a long afternoon or a Nice evening drinking that’s a gallon of flu. That’s all! So, supposing you don’t let all the ice melt? Maybe it’s a 110 ounces of fluid, that’s enough to keep most average human beings quenched and satisfied, but it truly is something especially if you have a nice pool or a nice patio with the umbrellas and nice tables it.

It’s a great drink to enjoy this summer and it won’t mess you up for won’t mess you up. I should do a little footnote here. That’s my body weight, I’m 200 pounds, your own little alcohol barometer will vary. I mean I wouldn’t recommend a hundred pound girl drink, four of them definitely going to wreck them and also be very careful and and try not to use more than the recommended amount of vodka that I suggested 12 milliliters per drink.

Because if you use more, you will easily over drink and it won’t hit until it’s too late and you’re going to feel pretty woozy and crappy the next day. If you drink too much vodka mixed in this I’ve had that happen to me more than once twice to be exact, and I actually was almost useless the following day. If I I think I tripled the amount of vodka, I was putting like 30 something 30 or 40 milliliters in I almost doubled the alcohol.

My journey, I was drinking like six or eight percent drinks and I drank six of them and I was a wreck. So if you care about throttling your alcohol, you really need to stay in control of how much you put in it, because that vodka, that vodka can really cause trouble for you, but this is a good drink. Let me try it please someone at least one person. Please try it it’s a it’s a fun drink to enjoy, and it’s not expensive and that’s it.

BARBECUE PARTY – VLOG

C’Est parfait le programme et va écouter, je vais ranger, je vais faire le classement des papiers, je crois que c’est le moment et ce soir, je vous avais dit on à un barbecue un anniversaire donc il ya des choses à les acheter en ville voilà un petit Peu le gros du de la journée, donc, je vois jack ça me fait penser tout à l’heure deux énormes pigeon gruissan entrer dans la maison surtout il était dingue, il était temps que j’ai cru qu’ils allaient se définit strict les soutes et jean du deuxième étage c’était Chaud mais les gars à l’aise genre il ya un problème, je suis pas chez moi elle a rendu l’âme en fou et là, je pense que c’est pour cette couche d’or, c’est pour ça que il est un petit peu en train de rôder easy on si jamais.

Je peux dire que s’il y en a une cartouche de jeu direct actu le 10 mai et dévoué et coup de tête cheveux pas tort parce que je ne l’avais ça fait toujours ça ils sont gonflés sont gonflés et surtout, début j’ai, une extension. Il me reste quelques unes mais très peu, derrière, c’est vraiment, très très très court d’ailleurs il a forgé chez le coiffeur prochainement pour mes racines qui sont quand même à celles présentes et faire également mes ongles mais j’exagère même pas celle du tf faire le remplissage et Je vais changer ça va être aux gens de faire du baby boomers j’aime beaucoup, c’est assez, chic et plus passe partout justement, je montrerai j’ai envie de mettre, une robe ce soir et j’ai bien envie de mettre, salah dollar et, c’est parce que j’ai pris quelques kilos À certaines de rentrer dedans à voir bon cette fois-ci maman elle, va elle, va un petit peu classés oui oui on d’ailleurs j’ai cru comprendre, jerry qu, il était pas fan de ça lui voulait carrément des quasi m’, a dit faut aller chez buchet web, a tenté De l’acheter il veut carrément des suis pas en train de céder meubles bon on va avoir sur, tu vas dire que, c’est pas bien regardé un petit peu tu me dis, je peux pas vous montrer qu’il ya en slip, fois non venant de plus haut on est Tous les mois le ca, s’est dédit machin vous frayer une sas et des petits machins oui, c’est bien continuer, deux, trois, trucs, mais, là, c’est tous les papiers et genre, ça paraît, beaucoup, appris, tout seul, va, pour manger, pour faire du classement ça fait plus d’une heure Que je suis sur le tri franchement j’ai une phobie administratives peuvent aussi mais en tout cas j’ai, tout terminer ça fait divers, comme s’arranger un sa rentrée, je veux dire dans les petits trucs très très bien les pochettes, je vous ai pas dit ce matin.

Je me suis mis moins de l’autobronzant, pourvoir j’en, ai mis partout, bon bah, je les milliards 4 5 heures ça se verra vraiment, je pense demain peut-être ce soir, ça, va commencer mais, je vous montrerai fur et à mesure j’en, ai mis un tout petit peu sûres Visage donc si j’ai l’air un petit peu aller, c’est ça, c’est vrai que j’aime bien de temps en temps ça donne ce une bonne mine, sur, tout le corps.

Je vous demande pas parce que j’avais chaud, je suis en culotte en bas mais les gens si ça a un prix pas mal hein donc j’espère qu’ils n’ont pas de trace déjà regardez moi; ça, c’est quand, même, mieux ça, ça m’agace, je l’enlève tout de suite ça Fait un siècle que le manteau et là entre divers, j’en, ai plus besoin voilà la casquette, elle est cassée c’était celle ce martin, baget lâche t elle est complètement pété mais voilà, là, c’est un beau spectacle et et bornés.

Bon là, je pense que je vais aller en ville pour ce qu’il est les quatre heures avant d’aller en ville j’ai voulu faire d ici tâche, j’ai donc essayé la robe pour ce soir ne va, plus maintenant j’ai trop grossi niveau des hanches mais résultat, je met Cette combinaison ce que, ça, c’est sec, tout est sec, ça, c’est davantage quand, il fait chaud mais. Je me souvenais plus que le décolleté était autant plonger donc faut que je trouve un débardeur parce qu’en même temps, elle est hyper légère très agréable quand il fait chaud mais oui, je trouve remettre en dessous voilà prête j’ai mis un body noir pour cacher maillot de Bain parce que j’ai encore, mis leurs maillots de bain tu sais que là bas, il ya un jacuzzi et on sait jamais avec un petit col optical irak où, c’est plutôt, joli hein on va, tarder, je vais vous montrer ce que, j’ai ce qu’on, a pris, c’est Chez nocibé si toutes ces deux petites choses dedans moi, cette histoire de ne pas arriver les mains vides puisque, je crois qu’il ya aussi un cadeau groupe et il ya ces petites trousses avec tous, à l’intérieur ça sympa le fait s’est désolée on est à l’apéro le Soleil vient de se, coucher super agréable moi, qui avais envie de manger, plein de gâteaux apéro et ou à lui ses grosses régalade, je crois qu’il va y avoir par deux coups avec des frites, très sympa, il ya la musique, et passent une agréable petite soirée, je Vous montre, je montre le petit coucher de soleil, voyez hyper sympa on est vraiment dans la campagne ça s’est, passé, là-bas, je suis sorti prendre, ma petite laine ça commence à légèrement qu’allié; c’est d’un calme à bavay b regarde j’ai trouvé j’étais en train de développer mais On voit pas grand chose renaud chenu et les gens vont croire peut-être même chemise mais, c’est qu’il en a plusieurs causes de cette couleur serge gainsbourg quoi serge gainsbourg mais, il avait toujours la même, chemise même type de chemise.

C’Est la même chose si je laisse à tout va bien mais, il ya des frais montrez moi ça procure j’attends aujourd’hui françoise et 6 ans [ Musique ] [ Musique ], c’est le lendemain matin j’ai pas clôturée hier, je vais pas forcément envie en rentrant j’étais crevé On est rentré sur les coups de 2, heures et demie en us coucher vers 3 heures, c’est vraiment bien non non: il y avait une très bonne ambiance, en attention à chanter on s’est bien marré on a bien mangé comme vous, avez, pu, voir et bah ça.

Pique un peu ce matin la fatigue, c’est sûr que j’ai pas trop l’habitude de sortir comme ça mais de temps en temps; c’est plutôt, agréable début ce matin, c’est très, subtil, l’autobronzant, mais j’aime bien faudrait pas plus parce qu’après ça ferait pas naturel, j’ai pas l’impression qu’il Y ait des démarcations en tout cas d’être assure encore voir comment: ça va, évoluer mais franchement, je vous conseille seiichi, je les ai eus, à une heure pour soi tu peux mettre aussi bien visage que corps il est il est vraiment pas mal voilà donc, je vais Aller manger chez super fins et faire un gros bisou vous dire très certainement à demain pour anovo blog ou une nouvelle vidéo voilà.

WOW!! 2000 DEGREE PAINT MAKES AN OLD GRILL NEW AGAIN!!

Our grill is looking shameful. I’D like to take you along today with me and we’re going to refinish. This grill make it look nice again we’re going to have a little cookout later on. Today and I’m going to show you how to take your old grill and make it look new again, so you don’t have to go out and spend 300 bucks buying a new grill, because your open looks like crap all right so come along today on the farm Blog and we’ll have a little bit of fun fixing up the grill all right folks.

So what we have here is a master forge grill. Now this is a pretty cool grill, it’s a charcoal, grill and, I believe in cooking with charcoal. I just think it gives your meat a little bit better flavor, but it’s been sitting outside. I think this grill is like three years old, which is a testimony to how long a grill lasts. Now we’ll walk you around the grill, we’ll tell you about its features and then we’ll show you what we’re going to do here.

Pretty simple grill. This has got the two-tier little spot here, one for like worming and one for cooking. Underneath here you have a pretty cool setup and it’s all crusty from last year I don’t normally clean my grill until the next time. I fire it up. So this grate is where your coals sit and there’s a handle right here and you crank this handle and you can see, there’s a mechanical thing in there.

That brings the great both up and down, and that gets your coals a little bit closer to where you want to work now underneath here, there’s a tray and this tray is upside down because I flip it over when I store it for the winter time. So it doesn’t puddle up water inside the tray and cause it to rust. Out now, we’ll take those ashes that are on there and put them in the yard. It comes with a little bottle.

Opener in case you have any adult beverages or regular beverages, you’d like to drink, and this also is our damper. So we open and close our damper with this little handle right here, so we can control our heat very, very, very happy with this grill. You also have an adjuster here at the top – that’s another damper that allows either less or more, and you can use this for smoking all sorts of stuff and there’s another damper on this side right here.

We also have a little temperature gauge, which has been pretty reliable so far before we get down to business. Let’S get busy if you drive down any city street this time of year at springtime, you’ll see grills all over the side of the road rusty, grills crusty grills. The lifespan of a backyard grill isn’t that long, maybe one or two years so when you’re paying like 200-300 dollars for a grill. You want it to last, and we’ve taken good care of this one to make sure it does last. Hopefully, we’ll get at least two more years out of it, but the outside looks like just so we’re going to take care of that now there are a few tools that are going to be essential to this a little roll of painters tape.

I got a sanding sponge here. I have a knife, you can use an exacto knife or just a easy razor knife and I also have a rest. Oleum spray paint handle I’ll. Show you this a little closer and I’ll. Give you a little more detail on the spray paint that we’re going to use, so the spray paint we’re going to use is a 2,000 degree protective paint. It’S a rust, OEM brand paint I’ll post links to all this fun stuff that we’re using in the vlog today, but it’s a rust-oleum paint and basically we’re going to go over the entire grill.

Here, after we tape off the parts that we don’t want to be spray painted pretty cool, this stuff works, it lasts, it works, it does a good job and it helps you to refinish your grill. Now this little doodad right here is something really really cool. It opens up and you can tell I’ve used it a lot it’s by rust-oleum I’ll post a link down below, but you clip it on to your spray-paint can and basically Shh.

It makes you a spray paint gun, which is very, very handy because I don’t know if you’ve ever painted something this big with a spray can, but using your finger. You’Ll end up. Switching fingers and you’d be like because your fingers will get covered with paint and it’s just it’s just hard on your hands. So this is awesome and we’ll show you how we use it now. There’S really only one place that I don’t want paint, and I don’t want to own this glass right here, so basically here’s how I’m going to do it.

I’M going to take my tape and I’m just going to cover the entire area right here. Just like that, I’m going to take two pieces of tape and do this and then I’m going to kind of press the tape down on the glass part and I’ll take my little knife here. This doesn’t have to be perfect at your grill to your backyard. So you know you want to protect this, so you can tell what your temperatures are, how hot it’s running in there, so I’ll press it down on the glass, then I’ll go around the edge and just basically trim off all the way around the edge.

Just like that and voila pull off the date, pretty cool now, we’ve protected that little glass piece, pretty neat we’re going to take our sanding sponge here and basically we’ll sand off some spots that have a little bit of heavy rust. I’Ll show you now, you don’t have to go to awful crazy with your sanding sponge, but basically you look. You see all that rust just kind of disappear and you can see all the little spots where they’re surface rust is starting to disappear.

I’M going to lightly sand this whole thing really quickly. Okay, now you can go as crazy as you want to with the sanding process. It’S your grill! If you want to make it look like a show car, you can make it look like a show car just trying to get off anything that might be moderately obvious once we start slinging paint on this thing. I think this will make it look a little bit better, I’m just going to take a little piece of tape and kind of wrap around the edges of my little chrome, accents or stainless steel accents right here.

Nobody will ever really notice, but me, but it would drive me absolutely crazy to see that and be a shame that I didn’t just take two seconds and do the right thing all right at this point we’re going to get into the science of this I like To keep my paint out in the Sun, I want to leave my paint out in the Sun for at least thirty – maybe forty five minutes and want to shake it really really. Well, you want to shake it at least a minute, maybe two minutes and as you’re painting, you want to stop and give it a good shake again.

Okay, just shake shake shake shake shake when in doubt shake your paint I like for the paint to be a little bit warm as it goes on, and I want the grill sitting out in the Sun. So it’s a little bit warm so when the paint hits it it dries quickly and it has less of a chance of running so the first place I want to start painting is a place. That’S a little bit less obvious so that I can see where the paint is going to run and how it’s going to behave.

If it goes on thick, then I don’t have to worry about it and basically, what I want to do is spray a straight line across and you’ll see all this technique, I’m going to go just like that, so that the spray paint job is a good job And so that you don’t have heavy paint like paint and heavy paint light paint. What we want to do is we want a half lap over it. Words will paint a strip here and then will lap over it halfway and paint it here, lap over it and paint it here.

Okay, that’s how you get a good nice smooth job. Now you want to do a light coat first and then go back with a nice finish coat. So, let’s get started painting you want to start and your hard-to-reach areas once you figure out how your paint’s going to behave because you’ll have to go back over those at different angles. Okay, I hope you see how I’m hitting this with the paint. The stuff covers. Really really well guys I’ll post links down below to all the materials we’re using here in the blog today, we’ve gotten around our problem areas right here and you can see there’s kind of a odd spot.

There hold it back about six to eight inches and fill in half lapping over. Just like I showed you before, and you can read you see how quickly that paint is drying right there. You can see it drying. That’S what you want. Okay, that’s why you want it out in the Sun we’re going to go down here. Am I worried about this? Handle nope we’re going to paint right over that handle. You sure you don’t neglect the angle, so I need to shoot down that way and I need to shoot up this way.

Okay, that’s why I say start in your odd little corners. First, remember to get those tight little corners, those tight little spots, first, okay, so you might be saying hey: why isn’t he using the spray handle? Yet I’m not using a spray handle yet because I’m into these tight spots, once I get done with the tight spots and I close the grill up I’ll put that spray handle on there and I’ll really hit it.

And then, when I go of my second coat I’ll use that spray handle okay, horizontal surfaces or flat surfaces, don’t like to run vertical surfaces do like to run so you want to go a little bit lighter and err on the side of caution and put more Coats versus thicker paint: now you can put thicker paint versus more coats on the flat surfaces, pretty cool, let’s get busy guys, I don’t know if you can tell, but that really really made it pop.

I want to give you a few final tips before you get started, be sure you’re about 30 feet away from any kind of vehicle or anything you don’t want paint to get on, because, as soon as you break out that spray paint, the wind is bound to Pick up, okay, pick yourself up. One of these guys makes life so much easier and so much less hard on your fingers, no paint on my fingers because of this guy and it’s dirt cheap.

It doesn’t look like a brand new grill, but it’s pretty darn close make sure your grill is nice and warm by sitting in the Sun and your paints warm. So when it hits it, it dries quickly and use little strokes go lightly and get two or three cans of spray paint per grill and that’ll get you started alright. Franklin’s BBQ | Austin Texas

This is we up early in the morning we headed to Franklin’s this. What we got to go check it out, we kind of bring it to you guys. So you guys can just look at this amazing brisket. That being said, cut you ready, let’s get it, let’s get it so off the air and Franklin’s we go so just to, let you guys know, listen, it doesn’t open the kill.

11 o’clock p.M. Usually people start getting in line between 6:00 and 7:00 and the murder cherry and her husband. They were in line at 7:30 to you know just to be there so that when they do open the other doors at 11:00, we could be somewhere near the door and what they do is they walk out and they come in to the line they can guarantee Risk using certain things you know up until that point, and then this we have a like part man.

We have to park like a couple of blocks away and then walk to it. I mean it’s super crowded. I didn’t show the line because I didn’t want to. You know, show you what’s up, everybody hey, listen. We finally made it to the infamous so I say infamous or I just say famous, I’m going to go ahead and go with famous. We had Franklin’s the famous Franklin’s, listen right here, we got Kirby, you see Kirby.

What is he doing way out here from the tech from California huh all right? We got hashtag for me, those you guys in read the battle of the kitchens. You know who daddy is right there and then listen. Look he couldn’t some of them finally be free, those weren’t ours, but that’s just somebody that was in front of you going to see the magic happen right here.

This is us. We broke out afresh. Briskets, so that we can get out of place our work yes, so I got your lien right there. You said a pound right here I got some meds for you to trash samples there all right. I got one at one point, seven or one point six. You know what the six was go, how much softer spray walking around trying to find somewhere to sit down. We tried to eat outside. So that way we could be a little noise and it wasn’t nothing out there.

He finally promised five minutes or so after we sat down, you know what we was so excited. We started eating and then somebody had to say right off the bat hey. What about the article? So here you go, you got ta, see me lizard, you guys. Don’T know this about me. Listen, I love potato salad. This potato salad is more of a mustard changing. You know chart based a potato salad. You know so I just heated with some of that classic Franklin’s barbecue sauce that be looking right up for me and after that, almost right here so on this potatoes here go Bank right now, hey number one number: two number: two! Oh! Oh! Oh Mia! Look at that, you see that take it out this article, that’s Audrina! I am, I see partner bar partier.
